01 / THE ASK

Make the map the starting point.

A mineral and royalty acquisition firm buying interests across the Permian Basin needed its land team to move from a tract on the map to that tract’s owners and an offer, without switching between county records, spreadsheets and mapping tools.

02 / WHAT WE FOUND

The diagnosis belongs here.

[CONFIRM: the technical lead’s account of the workflow and data constraints found during diagnosis.]

This section is deliberately unresolved in the review build. The delivered features below are supported by the supplied case material.

03 / WHAT WE BUILT

One workspace. Arranged around the task.

Analysts can dock the map, tract summary and owner panels side by side, use tabs or pop panels out. Closed panels can be restored. A one-click reset brings the layout back.

01

Select a tract. Bring its records into view.

Survey abstracts and township grids sit over the basemap alongside well locations. Selecting a tract loads its operator, county, legal description and due diligence status. Drill-downs expose leases, production, wells, DUCs, permits and price.

02

See the ownership behind the offer.

Each tract connects to interest types and decimals, net royalty acres and approximate revenue history. The owner panel records offers per NRA and total offers, staff assignment, deal probability, alert dates and correspondence.

General notes and interest notes stay with the record. Eligible owners can be added to an outreach campaign from the workspace.

THE SYSTEM REMEMBERS

03

Outreach rules inside the workflow.

A do-not-contact flag turns the record red and blocks outreach. Owners not contacted in 120 days are flagged automatically.

The restriction is enforced by the system. It does not depend on an analyst remembering a note.

04

A view of the week’s work.

Management can inspect abstracts, leases and the closing pipeline alongside producer and analyst KPIs. Buyer correspondence stays in the same operational layer.

Pipeline movement follows changes in probability per owner and producer. Deal analytics show each producer’s book by probability band. A high-probability queue helps direct attention.

04 / THE RESULT

One place to move from map to offer.

The land team can work from a selected tract to owner intelligence and an offer within one acquisition workspace. Outreach restrictions are enforced in the workflow. Management has a shared view of the acquisition pipeline.

[CONFIRM: a defined measure, such as tracts or owners managed, or time to prepare an offer]

The web map links spatial layers to a configurable workspace. The supplied case confirms Leaflet with an OpenStreetMap basemap. It does not identify the application backend or database.

[CONFIRM: application framework, spatial storage, data refresh architecture, authentication and hosting]

The diagram describes the delivered workflow. It does not assert an unverified backend architecture.
